FedEx Express International Trade Challenge
The International Trade Challenge (ITC) is a collaboration between Junior Achievement Asia Pacific and FedEx Express to enhance student’s understanding of global trade.
Within this program, students develop a clearly written international marketing plan for a specific country. By completing this program, students participate in developing competitive pricing strategies, promotion and sales. ITC promotes teamwork, risk-taking and self-confidence – vital assets to succeed in our increasingly globalised environment.
Cost: Free for students (sponsored by FedEx Express)
Supplementary Workshop Date: 2pm – 5:30pm, Monday 03 July 17
Number of students: 30 Max
This competition is in it’s 11th year in 2017 and was originally founded by Australia, Singapore, and Malaysia. With Australia’s return to the Junior Achievement worldwide network Australia has re-entered the competition in 2017.
All participants of our ITC Workshop will be eligible to create and submit as a team a Market Entry Strategy targeted based on a secret challenge topic that will be revealed on the day.
These are submitted for judging and finalists are selected to go through to the Australian Finals.
Finalists will be notified and will prepare a pitch to judges including FedEx volunteers and industry professionals to be selected to represent Australia in the Asia Pacific Finals.
Asia Pacific Finals (20 - 23 August)
